Frogmore Creek Vineyard & Restaurant

Just 15 minutes drive from Hobart, the home of Frogmore Creek, Meadowbank, Forty Two Degrees South and Storm Bay wines is one of the state’s most inspiring venues.

Stunning architecture is combined with sweeping vineyard and water views and this impressive Estate has a natural ambience. Visit the award winning Restaurant or inviting Cellar Door, where only fresh, local produce and premium cool climate wines are showcased. Meadowbank Estate is a place to unwind, indulge and enjoy.

Domaine A & Stoney Vineyard

Just half an hour’s drive from Hobart, this 20ha property in the Coal River Valley, is owned and operated by Peter and Ruth Althaus.
The oldest vineyard in the region, these highly praised wines are for both the collector and the enthusiast. Low yielding, immaculately tended vines and an onsite winery produce classic ‘old style’ wines. A must visit.

Pooley Vineyard

The Pooley family are one of the Coal Valley’s longest established winegrowers. Experience their consistently award winning premium wines, at their historic 1830s sandstone stables on the stunning Belmont Lodge property. Stay awhile and enjoy a glass of wine with a local cheese plate and great coffee.

Home Hill Vineyard and Restaurant

This family owned, boutique vineyard, winery and restaurant, is just half an hour’s drive south of Hobart, in the Heart of the Huon Valley. Their multiple trophy and medal-winning wines are available for tastings and sales or stay and feast on delicious Tasmanian delicacies and gourmet recipes made from good fresh, local ingredients.

Moorilla Estate Wine, Beer, Restaurants, Festivals, MONA, David Walsh……basically everything.

MONA is not only Australia’s largest private museum – it is also home to Moorilla Wines. Sample and indulge at The Wine Bar with nibbles or simply taste at the Cellar Door. Either way, try their Muse and Praxis series, or their fantastic range of Moo Brew. Of course, you can always linger longer, over lunch or dinner, at The Source, overlooking the Derwent River.
