From the airport follow the Tasman Highway across the Tasman Bridge. Proceed on the Highway past the Botanical Gardens and the Queen’s Domain.
Stay in the left lane until you reach Sullivan’s Cove and the Highway becomes Davey Street. Proceed up Davey Street, staying in the centre lane following the signpost that indicates B64 Ferntree / Mt Wellington.
Thereafter proceed up the hill past the furniture shop Wishbone on your right. Islington is beyond the crest of the hill on the right hand side, behind the cream picket fence with entry gates flanked by squared louvred lights.
